Fable II News > Lionhead Teases 'Big' Fable 2 Announcement Next Week
Vague comment leaves room for wild speculation
Lionhead is preparing to reinvigorate Fable 2 with a surprise next week, according to a post on the Fable 2 development blog. "Normally, we don't like to tease too much," it says. "But in this day and age where a gazillion titles are asking for your attention, I felt it might be the right thing to do on the blog." The post goes on to hint at "a big announcement regarding Fable II, next week!"
Of course, this gives us no idea what the "big" announcement might be, but keeping a game top-of-mind in the midst of the busy holiday season is at least a smart marketing idea. Given Peter Molyneux's penchant for practical jokes and social experiments, and the notoriously buggy launch of the game, players may just want to watch their backs when the surprise comes. We'll let you know more once we hear what it is.
